MINUTES OF
THE MEETING OF March 9, 2015
The Hannibal Free Public Library Board of Trustees met on
Monday, March 9, 2015 at 4:00 p.m., in the 3rd Floor Meeting Rooms at
Hannibal Free Public Library, 200 South Fifth Street, Hannibal, MO
63401.
Present were:
Kim Ahrens, Frank DiTillo (arrived
4:10 p.m.), Pam Ginsberg, Sara North, and Tom Prater.
Absent were:
Amber Baxter, David Clayton, Brandi Lionberger, and Pam Warfield.
Also present was Librarian Hallie Yundt Silver.
At 4:05 p.m., with no quorum
attained, a conference call with Brad
Lukens, Financial Consultant for Arbitrage Management Group, was placed.
Frank DiTillo arrived at
4:10 p.m. It was noted that a quorum
had been achieved.
The conference call
concerned types of investments the Library Board should consider, including CDs,
agency bonds, and PEFCO bonds. The
conference call concluded at 4:56 p.m.
There being a quorum
present, Board President Pam Ginsberg called the meeting to order at 4:57 p.m.
Kim Ahrens requested written recommendations on
investments. There was consensus
that Hallie Yundt Silver should make the request.
Discussion followed on continuing the meeting.
Moved by Kim Ahrens and supported by Frank DiTillo to
continue the meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, and to adjourn.
Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 5:07 p.m.
