Board of Trustees Meeting
February 11, 2013
The Board of Trustees of the Hannibal Free
Public Library met at 4:00 p.m., on
Monday, February 11, 2013, in the
meeting rooms on the third floor of the Library.
Present were: Pam
Ginsberg, Gordon Ipson, Cindy Lovell, Jeanie Powers, and Pam Warfield.
The meeting having been properly noticed and
there being a quorum present, Library Board President Pam Ginsberg called
the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Moved by Gordon Ipson and supported by Pam
Warfield to approve the
Minutes of meeting of January 29, 2013, and Executive Session minutes of
December 10, 2012. Motion
carried.
Moved by Jeanie Powers and supported by Gordon Ipson to approve the Claims
for February in the amount of $58,411.30
plus Rouse Fire Extinguisher Service for $24.00 from Building Contracts,
80.60.347, and AMIGOS for $136.05 from Computer Contracts, 80.60,450,
yielding a total Claims for February 2013 of $58,571.35.
Motion carried.
Moved by Gordon Ipson and supported by Pam Warfield to accept the Trust Fund
report. Motion carried.
The City
Financial Report was distributed.
Moved by Gordon
Ipson and supported by Cindy Lovell to approve the Transfer Recommendation
for February. Motion carried.
Correspondence
to Krystin Surgeon and a thank you note from Fern Wesbecher were discussed.
There was no
Public Comment or
Committee Reports.
The Director’s written report was included in the packet.
Hallie Yundt Silver thanked Jeanie Powers for attending the Library
Tea and representing the Library Board.
Moved by Gordon Ipson and supported by Cindy Lovell to amend the
Procurement & Disposition Policy, as
proposed. Motion carried.
Moved by Cindy Lovell and supported by
Jeanie Posers to approve the
Technology Plan for FY2013-2016 after correcting the budget for the chairs.
Discussion followed that the Technology Plan would be distributed to
the City Council and the Missouri State Library.
Motion carried.
Gordon Ipson announced the Fall in Love with Northeast Missouri reception in
Jefferson City on February 13, 2013.
