DIGGING FOR TREASURE IN BOOKS

ADULT SUMMER
  READING PROGRAM

MAY 24 - SEPTEMBER 6, 2013

Follow These Easy Rules,
Matey!

doubloon

1. READ or LISTEN to a book (or many books, as entries are unlimited) and fill out a "doubloon" for each book. Doubloons are located at the Library's main desk. It is very simple. All you need is the title and author of the book you read and whether or not you recommend it to others.

2. For every doubloon submitted, you will qualify for a weekly prize drawing as well as have your doubloon placed on our display. Each week will be a separate drawing. The goal is to make our display overflow with gold doubloons. A special prize will be awarded at the end of the summer in a drawing for all participants. The more entries you have, the better your chances of winning!

3. The finale is a trivia contest on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:45 pm. Entrants can be pairs or individuals. If you are an individual and wish to play in a pair, pairs can be formed during the evening. This is a fun event as well as a mixer. There is no entry fee, and prizes will be awarded.
Refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is requested. After August 1, 2013, a sign-up sheet will be available.
